To size your floats measure 75% of the fuselage length, 80% for Cub type planes (short fuse - long wing) and 100% if you want to use a single float with tip floats.

These are the 4 basic float profiles.
#1 - Includes a 1/8” x 7/8” ply spine and 12” of 3/4” x 1/4” ply along with a 3/4" x 1/4" foam filler.
#2 - Includes a 1/8” x 7/8” ply spine.
#3 - Includes 12” of 3/4” x 1/4” ply along with a 3/4" x 1/4" foam filler.
#4 - Is just the floats

The radius step is available on the Flat bottom
The straight step is available on both the Flat bottom & the Vee bottom floats
When ordering floats specify
which step you prefer. Both
steps handle the water
the same, the straight
step is easier to finish if you
are using covering. Also you
will need to pick which attachment
detail you want.

This is the 3 point mounting system, the spreaders keep the floats aligned and eliminates having to put another gear (and more weight) in the rear of your plane. Just send me the measurement shown and tell me you want to use this system and I'll cut the mounting holes in your floats.

Any size hole or the "Balsa USA" basswood shaped wing struts. Struts glued in the foam make your floats extremely strong, holding alignment, allowing you to make your gear on the plane lighter.
